Super Dug - Usage Instructions

Super Dug Extra is a balanced organic fertilizer use little and often throughout the growing season to give all your plants and crops a boost.

Flowers and Shrubs

Throughout the growing season from March to October sprinkle around flowers and shrubs at ½ to 1 pint per square yard

Vegetables and Fruit

Through out the growing season sprinkle around vegetable and fruit plants at ½ to 1 pint per square yard. When preparing the plot before the growing season dig Super Dug into the plot at 1 to 2 pints per square yard.

Roses

After planting, dress bushes at 2 pints per square yard. For established plants sprinkle Super Dug Extra around stems at ½ to 1 pint per square yard.

Compost Activator

Use Super Dug Extra to boost your own compost production. Every 6 inches of compostable material add a layer of Super Dug Extra. It will speed up the composting procedure and also boost the nutrient levels.

Liquid Feed

Using a large bucket or water butt place Super dug Extra in a fine mesh bag or pair of old tights in the water at a rate of 2 pints to 5 litres of water. Allow to soak for 2-3 days use water diluted at a rate of 1:5 parts fresh water to water all crops an plants.

Clay Breaking and Soil Conditioning

In the autumn or before growing season apply generously at 1 to 2 pints per square yard dig in well and lightly dress again at ½ to 1 pint per square yard. Super Dug Extra will break down the clay improve soil condition, encourage humus growth, improve drainage and moisture retention.

Lime Hating Ericatious Plants

Super Dug Extra is pH neutral and is suitable for Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Camellias, and Ericas. Sprinkle around plants at ½ to 1 pint per square yard.

These usage instructions give dosages in pints; a pint is roughly equal to a large double handful.
